If American politics were 'fair' there were several other candidates I would have preferred over Biden; Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris. The American public is too white upper middle class male dominant to elect a gay man, a socialist or a woman of color. So, the choice to beat Trump is 'Uncle Joe'.
