If you can imagine a group of people, who go through a process together, and emerge with consensus on the most effective path forward;
All with trust in the process, so there is goodwill and collaboration on execution of the decision —
What would that process look like?
Is it a pipedream to imagine?
What processes change people?
What processes make people act?
What process is scalable, from 5 people to 500 million?
A beautiful question. Perhaps the ideal democracy is not a fixed system, but a living practice—one where consensus isn’t demanded at the outset, but revealed through the act of listening. The processes that change people are the ones that dignify them. Scale begins with trust, not control.
